Best Stall Award
AgriScot 2012 Best Stall Award
Sponsored by CKD Galbraith, each year, AgriScot awards recognition and a prize to the livestock owner with the best stall. Keeping a tidy and clean stall can provide a great opportunity for owners to demonstrate their professionalism and promotional ability, giving their herd presence and impact.
This year’s judge, deciding who made best use of the AgriScot exhibiting opportunity, was Rodney Wallace from Clydesdale Bank’s Ayr branch.
The overall winner was Messrs Bown of Richaven Holsteins, Worcester, with Highly Commended awards going to The Hunter Family and Bradbury & Nadin.
Speaking of the judging task, Rodney Wallace said: “I am a farmer’s son and have been visiting shows and events since I was tiny and so I know what makes a stall stand out well. That said, the overall quality of the stalls at AgriScot was superb, with the vast majority of exhibitors generating a real presence.
“However, for me, there were some that really made their mark. The winners had a very tidy and orderly stall and seemed to be proactive at keeping it that way. They had a number of helpers who were able to make sure that even when things were busy the stall was still promoting the livestock to best advantage. They, and the runners up, should be congratulated.”

This year's award was won by Richaven Holsteins and presented by Duncan Barrie from sponsors CKD Galbraith.
