Launch Pad For Machinery

With the machinery hall now an established feature of AgriScot at least two exhibitors used the event to make major announcements.

R.H.Young Agricultural Engineers Ltd of Avonbridge near Bathgate publicised their recent appointment as Case dealers for West Lothian, West Fife, West Perthshire, Stirling and Midlothian, with tractors from the range on display.

The company, which is also involved in servicing, repairs and fabrication, felt that AgriScot was an appropriate launch pad. Director David Dalling said: “Our decision has been justified with loads of interest and plenty of firm enquiries.”

For Northern Ireland manufacturers Fleming Agri-Products, their second visit to the event focussed on the launch of their new range of general purpose trailers with capacities up to six tonnes.

David Watters, Area Sales Manager, Scotland and Northern England, said: “We have been busier than last year and the new trailer range has caught the imagination. It’s been well worth the trip from Londonderry and we are returning with a healthy number of confirmed sales.”
